Are you manifesting a house? Manifesting is the process of bringing an idea or thought into physical reality. It is the conscious, intentional, and planned process of bringing an object or vision into one’s reality.
So, you want to manifest your next home. You probably have a list of all the things you want – and don’t want.
If you’re new to manifestation, it’s probably good to start with something small, however, it doesn’t hurt to have this one bubbling away on the side if there are other things on your manifestation list.
In this post, I will share with you the steps to manifesting a house, as well as other important tips to help you with the manifestation process.
Manifesting A House
Manifesting a house follows the same principles as manifesting something small, so why not put it on your list if you’re a beginner. It’s not one that will happen tomorrow, and depending on your circumstances, something like this will take some work – and some time.
And yes, I did say ‘work’. Because although the universe conspires to help us and does a lot of the heavy lifting, we do have a role to play in the process.
How long will it take?
Manifesting a house – or anything for that matter – doesn’t have a specific timeframe. The time that it will take to come into your physical reality depends on a few things.
One of the most important is how vibrationally aligned are you to your new house? Do you believe that it is something that WILL come into your life, or is it something that will always just be out of your reach?
Law of attraction
The law of attraction is a universal law that influences what shows up as reality in your life. It means that the energy you emanate will attract more of that same sort of energy back to you. Like attracts like.
So whatever you put your attention on – will draw more of that back to you. This can work in a way that benefits you, or it can have the opposite effect.
For instance, if you’re constantly concentrating on the belief that you will never have your dream house, the law of attraction will draw more of that energy into your experience like a magnet.
By doing this, you are focussing on lack – on what you don’t have rather than all the good things you have in your life.
A quick and simple thing you can do here is to become aware of when you’re thinking like this. You can then turn your mindset around. Even if your current house isn’t anywhere near what you desire, there will still be things about it that are positive.
Hone in on these and bring them to the forefront of your mind. For example, the kitchen may be a good size, so you can start focussing your attention there. Try thinking ‘I’m so grateful that my house has a large kitchen.’ This brings your attention to what is positive.
You get the idea. Look for all the good things in your current home and focus on them. You may even feel a shift in your energy when you think about the positive things where you live now. What we put our attention on expands. If you’re always thinking about the negatives, your mood will match.
If there is something you desire that you currently do not have, you need only put your attention upon it, and, by the Law of Attraction, it will come to you, for as you think about this thing or experience that you desire, you offer a vibration, and then, by Law, that very thing or experience must come to you.
However, if there is something that you desire that you currently do not have, and you put your attention on your current state of not having it, then Law of Attraction will continue to match that not having it vibration, so you will continue to not have that which you desire. It is Law.

Your energetic setpoint
Your energetic setpoint is where you feel comfortable, or your comfort zone. Beliefs and your self-identity create your energetic setpoint.
It’s a limit that you subconsciously place on yourself. Going above that limit can cause discomfort, even if you are unaware that this is happening.
Usually when we want to manifest something, it involves bringing something new into our reality. This new thing or experience is ‘better’ than what we currently have, so it will not be familiar or part of our everyday experience.
Our setpoint can influence what we allow in. And remember, this happens on a subconscious level so this is a process that slips under our radar.
People who have won the lottery and come into a lot of money very quickly are an example of recalibrating to an energetic setpoint. Their identity is not that of someone who has a lot of wealth, so they find a way to spend or lose the money very quickly to bring them back to a familiar setpoint.
On the flip side, this can also happen to millionaires who lose their wealth. They are able to find ways to make their money back, as their identity is tied to their belief that they are a wealthy person.
Your energetic setpoint is based on what you EXPECT to have in your life.
Look at the home you live in now. This is a mirror of your current internal expectations when it comes to your home. Is it clean and well maintained? Are there broken appliances, ripped curtains, overgrown garden? If you desire to live in a nice home with a beautiful garden, but your home now is not well looked after, it doesn’t match your energetic setpoint (internal expectations).
It’s about increasing and expanding your current energetic setpoint. You can do this by identifying your limiting beliefs and reprogramming these. And learning to embody the version of you who already has what you desire.
Being in vibrational alignment
We live in a world where everything is made of energy. We are energy too, and we vibrate at a certain frequency. How we feel emotionally affects our vibration. As energetic beings, we transmit a signal that interacts with the energy of all that is around us.
When you’re in vibrational alignment, your energy is in sync with the energy of what you want to bring into your reality.
Being in vibrational alignment with your dream house is a combination of how you feel about your current living situation and how you feel about the house that you want to manifest. If you’re living in a cramped apartment with a bunch of noisy neighbors, but you love the city and couldn’t imagine moving, your energy will be focused on your current situation.
If you want to manifest a huge home in a quiet neighborhood far away from your current situation, you’ll need to change your focus to being in alignment with your new home.
5 steps to manifesting a house (or anything)
1. Decide what you want to manifest
Get crystal clear on what you want to manifest. Form a clear picture of what you want to achieve and make sure you write it down. Writing things down helps to clarify your thoughts and feelings more clearly.
You could also create a vision board that can be a subliminal reminder of what you want to bring into your reality. By spending the time to think about what you want to achieve, you’re setting the intention that this is what you want. Intentions are powerful.
Remember that we are always manifesting – usually unconsciously. This part of the process sets the intention of what you are manifesting.
2. Identify and dissolve limiting beliefs
It’s important to be able to identify the limiting beliefs that are holding you back. When you can identify these beliefs and understand how they are affecting your life, you can start to work on dissolving them.
The first step is to simply become aware of these limiting beliefs. Once you have become more aware of them, it is time to start working on dismantling them bit by bit.
How do you know what your beliefs are? Spend some time getting quiet and grounding yourself in your body. Say to yourself what you want to manifest – and be aware. Does your body react with an unpleasant feeling, does a thought pop up in response? Feel – be aware of your energy here – does it feel expansive or constricted? This will show you a true sign as to where you stand with your manifestation.
There are several techniques that can be used to dissolve and reprogram limiting beliefs. These include hypnosis, breathwork, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), meditation, and affirmations.
3. Embody the version of you who already has the house
This step is about embodying the version of you that already has the desire. While I’m manifesting my dream home, I’m maintaining my current home to the standard I want my new home to be. My dream home is clean, free of clutter, organised, has a beautiful aesthetic and a calming environment.
This is also setting the energetic setpoint that influences my reality. This step takes intention and consistency.
This step is about feeling. How will you feel when you’re in your new home?
4. Surrender and believe
This is where you surrender the outcome to the universe and have complete faith that it will happen. The details, including how long it will take, are not in your control. Our ability to come up with ways of doing things is so limited compared to what the universe can create.
When I say universe, I mean that universal life force energy that created the earth, sun, moon, planets, solar system, and galaxies to begin with.
5. Take inspired action
Follow any hits of intuition that arise. Your intuition is a sixth sense that allows you to perceive information outside of your conscious awareness. Intuition can come from a variety of sources, including emotions, memories, and dreams.
All of these things can connect you to the people, places, and experiences that lead you right to your desire.
Patience is key
One of the hardest parts of this process is to be patient. Yet it is so important.
Cultivating patience helps you transmit the vibration of faith. It is inevitable that you will manifest your home, it’s just a matter of when.
Becoming frustrated can put your focus on not having what you desire, which brings you in alignment with not having. And this attracts more of that to you.
Be mindful, and practice cultivating gratitude for all the amazing things you DO have.
